Swing Type Check Valve
Swing check valve is a type of check valve which consists of a big body, a disc inside it, a shaft, and a rocket arm that hold the disc, a counter lever, and weight.
Main usage area is the outlet side of pumps at sewage pipelines. It can also be used at clean water and raw water pipelines.
When flow begins, the disc is pushed forward by the effect of flow and positioned inside the valve body. Flow continues its travel in direction of pumping. It is an advantage that when the valve opens, the pipeline is fully clear without any obstacle
When the pump begins to slow down to stop, the disc begins to close. Check valve closes automatically with the assistance of backflow and counter-weight which is connected to shaft by a counter lever. Its closure prevents the water in the pipeline to flow reversely
